Working with Miss L was such an incredible experience. I know the whole process was something new and out of her comfort zone, but she embraced it fabulously! As soon as we started her session her confidence, strength and self love started to shine. I love how her personality is vibrant in all of the images!

I feel excited that these pictures have helped me feel more like a woman.

I feel vulnerable sharing the pictures, even to my husband. When I first sent the link to him my heart was racing until he finally responded.

I feel angry that I was so nervous about this. I almost didn't go through with it several times. I was just as nervous to see the pictures and there was no reason to be; they came out awesome!

I feel great seeing others' reactions to the photos. I brought two of my best friends to the viewing and they made me feel great about all of them.

I feel confident - Finally! I needed a confidence booster. Becoming a mom changes everything about you, especially your body. I totally needed to see myself in a different way and I'm so glad I did!

I feel most powerful being a mom. I love being a mom and I love watching my daughter grow and learn from the things I am teaching her.

My favorite rule to break is eating ice cream for breakfast with my girl.

My best advice is to love - love everyone and everything! Who has time to be mad and hateful all the time?

The first time I saw Ewan’s work, I was interested, deeply interested. He photographs in a way that’s impossible to casually scroll by. In the social media sea of being over exposed to images, his work makes you feel something right to your core. Whether it's love or hate, he makes you feel. And for me it was immediate love.

Miss B | Evansville boudoir photography

Miss B was just great to work with!   I love girls willing to get out of their comfort zone!  Miss B did her session as a gift for her man, but i'm so glad she did it for herself too!  Because this girl radiates in front of the camera!  Most of her pictures were reserved for his eyes only, but I'm so happy she decided to share a couple!  I just love this girls baby blues!

I feel like learning to love yourself and letting that be enough is one of the hardest things to accomplish.  But once you figure it out its much harder for other people to bring you down.  No one can dim your light when you're not relying on anyone else for it to shine.  Know your heart, invest in yourself and find what makes you happy.  The most important relationship you have is the one with yourself.

Have the courage to ask for what you want!  I know this seems so basic but when I really took this to heart it opened a lot of doors for me.  I mean the worst someone can say is no!  But so many times people say yes and it leads to amazing things you'd never had, unless you had the courage to ask!  Just make sure when you're asking for things, you're also giving an equal amount or more in return!  Be grateful for the people that take chances on you as you chase your dreams!

Don't ever let fear stop you from doing amazing things.  From where i'm standing i'd rather fail than never try.  Take a risk this week Fearlessly Feminine babes!  Start a business, tell someone you love them, share or begin writing a blog.  Whatever it is just do something that scares you!      Overcome the fear and give yourself a chance to soar.  

Bridal | How to Wear it Wednesday

Some of my favorite Fearlessly Feminine sessions are spent with brides celebrating their upcoming weddings!  My brides love these sessions because not only is a great gift for their groom but it's an amazing experience for them.  In the spirt of that were talking about bridal lingerie!  

For Bridal I love little lace details! Body suits and rompers are a great way to start the session.  I love all these flirty pieces.  Details are important so make sure that your engagement ring is shining bright!  I also love the midi ring and high waisted trend this year. Either would make a great addition to a 2014 fearlessly feminine session! 

These fancy white bra and panty sets are amazing and sure to make you feel glamorous!  This is also a great day to break in your wedding shoes.  Many brides buy special heels for their big day!  Bring them along and we'll show them off without the dress hiding your feet!

Monday Mantra: This is your dream

Sometimes it's hard to be motivated on cloudy Monday. Then I remember that I today I got to wake up and work on something I am passionate about. I get to continue building a career I love. I get to work with smart, beautiful, inspiring women. I get to make things that were previously out of my comfort zone part of my beautiful life. Sure, the long list of things I have to accomplish today is daunting, but when I'm done I'll have achieved a little bit more of my dreams.

Miss H: Fearlessly Feminine Boudoir

Miss H is a total babe!  I had so much fun with her during her session!  I'm so thankful to Paparazzi: Glamour and Gowns for helping me pull amazing dresses for her.  They have amazing vision based entirely off of a picture of Miss H.   My favorite dresses are easily the gold and the pink!  This woman sparkles from the inside out!

"My husband has always talked about me doing a boudoir session and once I found out Alisha had started taking them I knew I had to book with her!  I had such an amazing experience with her during the session.  I was about to do my shoot with a friend, so that definitely helped my nerves.  But Alisha and her team definitely set my mind at ease.  They made me look absolutely stunning and Alisha made me feel that way throughout the whole process. I remember going to choose photos and feeling nervous, hoping at least a few pictures turned out and when I sat down my mind was blown! Look fierce in Black | How to Wear it Wednesday

I get lots of questions from clients about what they should wear for their sessions and with all the options out there I understand how it can be overwhelming.  This will be the first post of many on this topic so I figured we'd start with lots of black options for all different body types.  I want all my clients to wear what they love and choose things that make them feel beautiful!  But, Its really important to dress for your body type.  Know the areas you love about yourself and highlight them! 

I love beautiful sheer robes with nothing on underneath!  They look great in front of a sunny windows.  Shape-wear that hugs all your curves just right look amazing on camera!  Feeling fun? Pair pantyhose with rockin' heels and a really amazing bra! 

This year I'm really loving beautiful bodysuits of all styles!  And i'm obsessed with strappy lingerie! So much fun!  Victoria Secret has some really cool styles out this season you should check out here. Best part? The whole line is called Fearless! 

Bring lots of varieties of shoes to your session! My favorites are for sure the pointy toes heels!  I'm also into this whole high waisted trend!  Pair them with a plain black bra to dress up something casual!  

Miss E | Fearlessly Feminine Boudoir

Its Fearlessly Feminine Friday ladies!  So excited to be showcasing such a beautiful babe today! Miss E has lots of class and lots of sass.  I really enjoyed photographing her!  She rocked Paparazzi's dresses like a boss!  Celebrate yourselves ladies!  Celebrate your relationships!   You deserve it!

"How to sum up my beauty and boudoir experience? A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!  My friend and I did the shoot on the same day so that help ease my nerves.  I was also nervous to have my makeup done by someone else but Alisha's hair and make up team made me look so fierce, I love it!  When I went to go pick out my pictures I planned on only getting an album but they all looked so good I couldn't choose!  So I had to get more than just an album!  My husband is defiantly going to love his surprise boudoir anniversary presents.  I highly recommend you let Alisha take beauty and boudoir pictures for you!  You will feel like a princess for a day and won't be disappointed- this girl is amazing with a camera"

Baby Steps: Workout Wednesday | Fearlessly Feminine Boudoir

Sometimes getting to the gym and getting a workout in seems like a daunting task. We all have busy lives and are trying to prepare for the next big thing. Being a gym rat isn't always necessary to get in shape. My biggest philosophy with health and wellness is that little steps make biggest impacts. SO instead of trying to make yourself get to the gym multiple times a week for hours on end, try some of my little tips. 

First off, TAKE THE STAIRS! Taking the stairs isn't going to change your life, but it will burn 5x the amount of calories that taking the elevator does. Again, like I mentioned before, small steps, make big changes.

Secondly, try adding a 10 minute workout to your daily routine. Mix about 3-4 different simple moves together to get a nice little workout to get your rear in gear (get it?). Simple moves can consist of squats, crunches, jumping jacks, wall push ups, or planks. Anything that gets you moving without using too much equipment. Adding in this 10 minute workout 3-4 times a week will help you burn extra calories all week long. Losing weight is a basic science of calories in versus calories out.

Just remember food should be consumed in moderation (especially the bad stuff). By adding in small changes in your life you will burn more and more calories which helps add in losing weight! If you have the time get out there and get your workouts in, but time should never be an excuse to help you get more fit. Remember your body is your own, and if you don't take care of it, where will you live?!
