I love working with Miss K! She's confident, beautiful, and a seriously hard worker! She did this session for herself and her new husband as a surprise. What a perfect wedding present to give the love of your life! 

She absolutely blew us away at her shoot with her willingness to try new things and fun poses; I'm so happy with how these images turned out, and I feel so blessed to get to work with this babe! 

Below Miss K shares about her session; I love how she talks about how beautiful the process made her feel and the way she encourages other women to participate in something like this for themselves as well! 

Why did you choose to do a Fearlessly Feminine shoot?

I chose to do a Fearlessly Feminine shoot because I wanted to do something special for myself and for my fiance.

What was your favorite part of the experience?

The whole experience was out of my comfort zone. I got my hair and makeup done. I got to wear sexy lingerie. Seeing the photos was my favorite part. It made me feel beautiful.

How did your boudoir session make you feel?

I was nervous at the beginning. I didn't know how to pose. Through the session, I became more comfortable and confident.

Would you do another Fearlessly Feminine shoot?

Sure!

Would you recommend a session like this to anyone else? If so, who?

Any woman!

What did you do to prepare for the shoot?

I bought a few new outfits. I took extra care of my skin and face including a hot bath the night before, eating well and drinking plenty of water.

What image was your favorite?

Honestly, I love all of the images I chose. The image that shows my booty is probably the favorite one. I think that is one of my best features.

What products did you decide on? Are you happy with your choice?

I chose the black leather book. I wanted it to be a surprise!

Miss E came to me one day and told me she was ready for a fearlessly feminine session and I jumped for joy.. literally! I love getting my girls in front of the camera! Miss E is not only a badass babe in front of a camera, but she's also part of the ASP/FF team! And as you know, we believe in girl power, and owning your body. She's perfect example of confidence and self-love, and we wanted to celebrate her with a shoot that showcased her femininity. 

Miss E is a student and amazing artist! This girl does it all, and she looks fantastic while she does it.

The first time I saw Ewan’s work, I was interested, deeply interested. He photographs in a way that’s impossible to casually scroll by. In the social media sea of being over exposed to images, his work makes you feel something right to your core. Whether it's love or hate, he makes you feel. And for me it was immediate love.  

I appreciate your support as my business and style evolve. My goal is less perfection and more passion. To photograph in a way that forces you to feel.  

Miss B | Evansville boudoir photography

Miss B was just great to work with!   I love girls willing to get out of their comfort zone!  Miss B did her session as a gift for her man, but i'm so glad she did it for herself too!  Because this girl radiates in front of the camera!  Most of her pictures were reserved for his eyes only, but I'm so happy she decided to share a couple!  I just love this girls baby blues!

Galentine's Day Party | Evansville Boudoir Photographer

Happy Monday ladies!  I had SO much fun at the Galentine's Day party with all of you!  For those of you that missed it, no worries you can relive it here and pencil it in for next year!  

Celebrating women and bringing boudoir to all the lovely ladies of Evansville (and EVERYWHERE) is definitely one of my passions.  I firmly believe every girl should feel as beautiful and empowered as she does during her boudoir session.  I'm thrilled with all the amazing ladies that booked a session and can't wait to work with you.

One of my favorite parts of the evening was Catie's make up tutorial!  She did an amazing job walking everyone through a Valentine's smokey eye!  Interested in knowing more about doing your own make up?  Catie offers make up lessons!

Cupid Float

1 shot of Bacardi
Strawberry Jello Shot made with your favorite liquor
(we used mango rum)
equal parts fressca and pink lemonade
top with whip cream and enjoy! 

Cotton Candy Dream
1 shot of Bacardi
1 handful of cotton candy
Pour over with Sprite
Add extra cotton candy to make it sweeter! 

Cranberry Raspberry Flirtini
Mix in a pitcher
1 bottle of moscato
1 cup of cranberry juice
1 cup of orange juice
add raspberries to taste!

15 Reasons You Should Be.... | Evansville Indiana Boudoir Photographer

We've talked about the benefits of water and keeping your system hydrated. I'm hoping you fearlessly fit babes are keeping your reusable water bottles with you on a daily basis! Now that we've accomplished that step we are going to take it even further. 

LEMON WATER!

No, I'm not talking about lemon water that you get at your favorite restaurant. I'm talking about freshly made lemon water. (Side note, please don't ever get lemon in your water from a restaurant, in high school I was a waitress, you're going to want to trust me on this one.)

Fresh lemon water has so many benefits for your body. ESPECIALLY, when you are trying to get photoshoot ready. Firstly, lemon water helps improve digestion and cleanses out your system. The last thing you want to be is bloated before you get down to your skivvies. Second, lemon water helps keep your skin beautiful! No one wants a big ugly pimple when your getting photos done. (You're lucky because Alisha is one baller photographer, but nothing kills your confidence like a facial flaw!) Lastly, lemon water is a weight loss aide, need I say any more??

So, start out every morning with a big glass of lemon and water and you'll be looking better and feeling greater in no time!!

Scandal: Monday Mantra | Evansville Boudoir Photography

Do I have any Scandal fans out there?  I don't know about you ladies but I love Olivia Pope.  I love her strength, self confidence and her oh so classy wardrobe!  This is my favorite quote from her to date.  I love fierce women who believe in themselves and don't let other people control their happiness.  

This year I really had to do some pruning in my life to weed out the people that brought down my happiness.  It was uncomfortable and sometimes it meant dancing to my own beat alone on the dance floor.  

I firmly believe its important to guard your heart from things and people that stress you out and just don't jive with the happy dance you're rocking out to!   Stand firm, have a glass of wine,  and be fine with dancing alone!

For my birthday I decided I really wanted to understand how it felt to be in my clients shoes.  I always encourage my clients to feel confident in their skin and I thought who better to have this experience with than my best friend!  Big thanks to Ingenue Boudoir who captured our Chicago adventure so perfectly.  Also big thanks to my friend Sara for inspiring me with the quote at the beginning and to my friend and personal trainer, Sarah, (who also writes Fearlessly Fit) for getting my body ready for this shoot.

Mountain Climbing | Monday Mantra

I'm not really an outdoorsy girl.  There are a lot of aspects about it that just aren't my thing.  But  the end goal always pushes me through the bugs, sweat and discomfort.  I have a deep desire to climb a mountain just to take in that view from the top.  Keep your eye on the prize in this way with all your goals! (real mountains and mountains of paperwork)  When focused on how satisfying the end result is going to be its easier to push through the routine.  Take each day this week one step at a time!  You'll feel like queen of the world standing on top of that mountain!  And you'll be moving onto the next goal with a positive outlook.

Make Something Marvelous | Monday Mantra

Can you look at a heart drawn in the sand on a beach and say "The waves have made this beautiful drawing"? Of course not. Someone took something as simple as their finger and used it to make something beautiful. But without their effort you wouldn't have seen the marvelous beauty of something so simple. Apply that to your life. Look at the things you want and don't just wait for them to happen. Make them happen.

Bridal | How to Wear it Wednesday

Some of my favorite Fearlessly Feminine sessions are spent with brides celebrating their upcoming weddings!  My brides love these sessions because not only is a great gift for their groom but it's an amazing experience for them.  In the spirt of that were talking about bridal lingerie!  

For Bridal I love little lace details! Body suits and rompers are a great way to start the session.  I love all these flirty pieces.  Details are important so make sure that your engagement ring is shining bright!  I also love the midi ring and high waisted trend this year. Either would make a great addition to a 2014 fearlessly feminine session! 

These fancy white bra and panty sets are amazing and sure to make you feel glamorous!  This is also a great day to break in your wedding shoes.  Many brides buy special heels for their big day!  Bring them along and we'll show them off without the dress hiding your feet!
